Jenks Hall standard and single rooms are located in the East wing of Jenks Hall, housing freshmen and upper-class students. Jenks East is co-ed by floor, with same-gender, community-style bathrooms located on each floor.

Jenks Hall has the distinction of being home to the Fitness Center which is available to all AU students. Additional amenities include multiple air conditioned student lounge areas with TVs, a large centralized laundry room, small laundry rooms on every floor, an elevator, a study room, free printing, and vending machines available for residential students. Jenks Hall is equipped with dual-scan entry to ensure the safety of residents.

Jenks Hall Standard Double Room - 2026

Each resident receives their own set of furniture, including a desk, dresser, bed, chair, and closet or wardrobe.

Tip: Interested in a little privacy for your closet area? Bring a tension rod and curtains!

Beds, desks, and dressers are able to be moved within the space by the residents of the room, as desired.

All beds are extra long twin in size.

Students can choose to lower the height of the springs and/or bunk the beds to allow for extra floor space, if desired.

At the beginning of the year, each room is able to place a request for a loft kit to be installed. Pending availability, AU's physical properties team will install the kit, allowing for room extra floor space to be utilized.
