Nestled in the heart of Stellenbosch, against the backdrop of the Devon Valley and overlooking the Bottelary Hills this picturesque property is renowned for its exceptional red wines, with a special focus on the exclusive Free-run Pinotage crafted through natural, unpressed methods, distinguishing it from its counterparts.

Water sustainability is ensured through three boreholes, a reservoir, natural springs, and extraction rights from the Theewaterskloof Scheme, all backed by water right certificates. Electricity is secured with four Eskom points and a backup generator system.

The farm's cellar houses a state-of-the-art maturation facility accommodating 300 oak barrels, primarily French oak with a touch of American oak, offering diverse wood structures for wine development. Bottling is done onsite utilizing a mobile service for convenience.

Beyond winemaking, the estate features a well-appointed restaurant and wine tasting center, housed within a charmingly restored late 19th-century horse stable, with a recent extension offering scenic views of the Middelvlei dam. The restaurant, with its inviting verandah, can comfortably host up to 70 guest, supplemented by two intimate fireplace rooms.
